Updated Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goals for 2025-2027

Franklin Transit has established a proposed race-neutral overall DBE goal of 7.1 % for Federal Fiscal Years 2025 through 2027.

This goal is applicable to DOT-assisted contracting opportunities scheduled to be awarded during the period of October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2027. Franklin Transit’s proposed goal and its rationale are available for inspection for twenty-one days following the date of this notice, between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday at the Transit Center:

Franklin Transit will accept comments on this proposed goal for twenty-one days from the
date of this notice. Written comments may be sent to the street or email addresses listed
above.

On Tuesday, July 23 at 2:30 PM in the Franklin Transit Center’s conference room, the Franklin
Transit Authority will be holding a meeting of contractors and interested parties to discuss the
three-year DBE goal setting process for Federal Fiscal Years 2025, 2026, and 2027 (Oct. 1, 2024– Sept. 30, 2027). This meeting is open to the public.
