System Overview
Franklin Transit operates two bus routes serving the City of Franklin, Tennessee and surrounding areas in Williamson County. Service runs every 30 minutes, Monday through Saturday, with over 160 stops throughout the system.
The Downtown Transit Center, located at the intersection of Main Street and Church Street in downtown Franklin, serves as the central hub where both routes connect for easy transfers.
🔴 Red Route 1 (Western Loop)
Service Days: Monday through Saturday
Hours: 6:40 AM – 6:02 PM
Frequency: Every 30 minutes
This route forms a loop through western Franklin, connecting residential neighborhoods with downtown, the library, and shopping areas.
Major Stops:
- Fieldstone Farms / Publix (E)
- Independence Square / Kroger (D)
- Downtown Transit Center (T) — Transfer point
- Williamson County Library (C)
- West Meade & Brookwood (B)
- Bradford & Davidson (A)
🔵 Blue Route 2 (Eastern Loop)
Service Days: Monday through Friday (full route) | Saturday (limited)
Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:18 PM
Frequency: Every 30 minutes
This route connects downtown Franklin to the Cool Springs commercial area and Williamson Medical Center.

- Liberty & Franklin Road (A)
- Liberty & Chestnut (B)
- Walmart - Mallory Lane (C)
- Galleria Mall at Cool Springs (D)
- Carothers & Cool Springs (E) — Weekdays only
- Columbia State Community College (F) — Weekdays only
- Williamson Medical Center (G) — Weekdays only
Saturday Service Note: On Saturdays, Blue Route 2 operates only between Galleria Mall and Downtown Transit Center. Service does not extend to Williamson Medical Center, Columbia State, or Carothers & Cool Springs.
